About Joe

After 10 years working as an advertising copywriter, Joe was accustomed to directing voice actors in the recording booth and even laying down guide voice-overs for the client. 

Curiously, he increasingly found that sound engineers and clients assumed that he was the paid voiceover talent, not the scriptwriter, and wanted to use his voice instead.

This revelation led to a new career move to the other side of the studio glass.

Joe’s versatile showreel includes voice-overs for a plethora of renowned brands. His soothing, yet authoritative tone can be harnessed to add gravitas, yet humanity, to all kinds of scripts. 

With a background as a copywriter, he has an acute ear for different tonalities and is responsive and receptive to direction and feedback.
